This lady confessed killing six patients over a four year period in intensive care to ease her work pressure.
The 50 year old Vera Maresova worked at a hospital in the small town of Rumburk, Czech Republic.
She was initially arrested last August for the death of one patient, a 70-year-old woman who died from potassium poisoning.
She admitted to killing admitted the 70-year old woman and five other people with deadly potassium into their blood streams. She killed a total of six people including one man and five women.
A police spokesman said: ‘All of her victims were elderly and needed intensive treatment.
‘We do not suspect the nurse committed any more murders.’
She now faces life imprisonment. metro
