When asked by journalists, whether the APC will be able to manage successes it recorded at the general election, with regards to campaign promises.
“Are we not managing it? We are managing it and I believe we will be successful.”While assuring that positive changes will definitely come, he urged Nigerians against expecting quick- fix measures from the incoming government, stressing that, “The only thing is that changes will not occur overnight, it will be gradual but definitely there will be changes and positive changes for that matter.”
When asked about last minute activities, which the outgoing federal government has been carrying out, like the sacking of some government officials, Atiku said:
“Well, there is nothing unusual in what is going on, that is PDP for you, inefficiency, corruption, name it, that is PDP for you.”
