The French President called Buhari on Thursday according to Nigerianeye, he congratulate him for his victory.
He then invited him to Paris for discussions on expansion of trade between France and Nigeria. He noted the smooth electoral process, which solidifies Nigeria's democracy.
He also mentioned that he wish to continue the close relationship that he has had with Buhari's predecessor with him in order to be able to expand trade between France and Nigeria.
He said, Nigeria and it's neighbours will have their support in their effort to combat Boko Haram.
