Ex-Pres. Obasanjo tasks service providers on quality delivery

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has asked service providers in every sector of the economy to give their customers value for their money as this would not only leave them satisfied, but also gratified.

He said this on Friday in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital, while addressing staff of the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority who were having a three-day workshop at the Green Legacy hall of the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library.

The former president argued that every member of a team matters in service delivery, and no role should be treated with levity, as the last link in a chain might be what a customer would form his impression on.

He said, “The quality of service delivery is what will make the customer satisfied and gratified that he or she has got value for money. To achieve this, it requires that each and every one matters in the chain of service delivery in your organisation.”

On his part, the Director-General, NCAA, Captain Muhtar Usman, said the essence of the retreat/training was to strengthen the teamwork, integrate new staff members and re-energise the old ones, and make them creative in discharging their duties.
